Some tips when using the CXT:

  • Train both sides. Most people have a non-dominant side which is easier to exploit. Make sure you practice each technique on both sides
  • Don’t move for the sake of moving. Staying heavy in certain positions is useful. Training for MMA? Stay where you are and learn to throw devastating strikes
  • Be creative. If you think of your own techniques, include them. That is the beauty of the system – we are trying to unlock your creativity!
  • Visualize. Although the CXT may not look like your opponent, try and imagine that you are training with a person. This will help the techniques you are drilling cross over to the mat or in the cage/ring.
